June 1, 2016

SANTA CLARA, CA— June 1, 2016— Atypon has signed multi-year renewals with eight of its clients, including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Economic Association, the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, the American Public Health Association, Allen Press (a reseller partner), Annual Reviews, and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. Together they publish 107 journals and 500 books, all of which are hosted on Literatum, Atypon’s online publishing platform.

Atypon has also extended its relationship with the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), the world’s leading medical journal and website, and an Atypon client since 2008.

“Literatum is fundamental to our digital business,” said Rob Stuart, the Managing Director of NEJM Group. “By continuing our relationship, the enhanced capabilities in Literatum’s latest releases will enable us to deliver the intuitive and productive website experiences our readers expect.”

Literatum offers a unique combination of features, including automated content marketing, analytics and business intelligence, and the ability to rapidly create and package new editorial products from existing content. Publishers gain unprecedented flexibility for creating and dynamically delivering website offerings and user experiences that match their readers’ interests, as determined by demographics and site behavior tracked by the platform.

“I’m so pleased to be extending our relationship with so many prestigious clients,” said Georgios Papadopoulos, Atypon’s founder and CEO. “Literatum’s widening feature set will help them to curate, market, and sell their content even more efficiently with websites flexible enough to accommodate their evolving business strategies.”
