Presented each year by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the Webby Awards honor excellence on the internet—websites, media, online video, apps, and more. In each of the many Webby award categories, one winner is chosen by the IADAS and a second via public voting.
Many are nominated for the Webbys, but few are chosen—so imagine how excited we were to learn that Science.org, the new Literatum site we launched for AAAS in 2021, was among the top 5 entries in the Science Websites category of the 2022 Webby Awards!
While Science.org ultimately lost to NASA Solar System Exploration for the overall award, making it into the top 5 for our category is a huge achievement—and we appreciate everyone who cast their votes for Science in the People’s Choice award, too!
Kudos to Dino Paravandis, the entire Atypon Design Studio team, and of course the design and content teams at Science for their award-worthy work!
